Tabasco Honey

This was the first cigar box guitar I built for myself. I did it in anticipation of an amazing trip to Clarksdale, MS to play the blues. It has a snarling dirty sound, owing to the P-90 pickup, hardtail bridge, and rosewood fretboard. This video is a quick clip of a little blues played through a portable Honeytone amp.

The box was given to me by a cigar shop owner in Monterey, CA. He had heard of my work through the folks at the Occidental Cigar Club in San Francisco, who have OD #002 hanging on their wall.
