This was the first cigar box guitar Oso built for himself. He did it in anticipation of an amazing trip to Clarksdale, MS to play the blues. It has a snarling dirty sound, owing to the P-90 pickup, hardtail bridge, and rosewood fretboard.
The box was given to him by a cigar shop owner in Monterey, CA. He had heard of Oso's work through the folks at the Occidental Cigar Club in San Francisco, who have OD #002 hanging on their wall.
